How to create the perfect wedding lounge area

Our furniture hire is unique as we specialise in lounge style furniture for your events, providing comfortable and stylish spaces for your guests to gather and mingle. Lounge areas are a necessary part of any celebrations, to perch on during canapés, in the bar area or to retreat to as a ‘quiet’ area in the evening so those who aren’t up for dancing can chat and listen to the music. Weddings and events can often be lengthy affairs, so clusters of sofas and armchairs ready and waiting for your guests will be a welcome sight whatever the occasion.

We hold a large range of indoor and outdoor lounge furniture available to hire to accommodate your guests in a cosy and relaxed environment. Most of our seating and tables can be upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and colours to suit any specification, matching your event theme and vision, with a range of cushions and throws to suit your colour palette and event design.

Fill the Space

During the event planning process, you’ll divide your venue space into different areas. Think about what type of areas and furniture clusters you want in these spaces to create intimate, comfortable areas for your guests to gather. Is it a bar area with poseur tables and stools? Or is it a chill out area with sofas, armchairs, and coffee tables? And how do we make this space in keeping with the rest of the event style?

Don’t forget to also provide plenty of tables for your guests to place their drinks. Large coffee tables, side tables and poseur tables are practical, but also give you further opportunity to display décor and theming.
